What To Pack

Packing for Athens means preparing for warm, sunny days and stylish evenings. For daytime exploring, bring lightweight, breathable clothes like cotton shirts, linen shorts, sundresses, and comfortable sandals. Poolside essentials include a couple of swimsuits, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, flip-flops, and a light cover-up or kaftan. Evenings in Athens can be dressier, especially if you’re dining out or enjoying the nightlife, so pack a few smart-casual outfits—think maxi dresses with stylish flats or espadrilles. Don’t forget sunscreen and a light jacket or wrap for cooler nights.
