    For a meal at the beach in style, you have Sublime Comporta Beach Club in Carvalhal Beach. With parasols and sun loungers, Sublime boosts one of the best beach clubs in the area and serves a seafood feast with giant prawns, oysters and seafood platters. A fantastic experience for those in the mood to splurge on farm and fisherman-to-table dining.

    Only an hours drive from Lisbon, the seasonal destination is located on the edge of a pine tree forest, with bright green rice fields on your horizon, ending with infinite dunes. 

    Exploring this paradise on horseback is hands down one of our top things to do in Comporta. Ride along the beach of Comporta taking you along the rice paddies, through the pine forest and along the vast stretch of beaches.

    Being a great place to surf and SUP, enjoy a surf lesson at Carvalhal Beach. They also do interesting SUP tours, through Carvalhal’s dreamy rice fields.

    Being a destination suitable with or without children, it has something for everyone. From pilates classes, surfing lessons, bike trips, horse riding and dolphin watching at Sado estuary, you can really indulge in some escapism.
