Why we love it? One of Ana’s favourite boutique hotels is Can Ferrereta, and we have to agree! Tucked away in the rural town of Santanyi, this 17th-century grand mansion has been turned into a 5-star boutique hotel offering guests a sensational space to unwind. Natural light fills large areas where contemporary architecture meets the buildings rustic roots. Exposed beams, stone archways and curved walls in calming shades create a peaceful atmosphere throughout. While a carefully curated collection of modern Spanish art splashes colour throughout.

Why we love it? Hidden off the busy streets of the Palma centre is a true secret gem hard to find. A discreet stone archway leads to Can Bordoy giving this special boutique hotel an even more exclusive feel. Once a private family home – then a school run by nuns, it has been renovated by renowned husband-and-wife architects Jaime Oliver and Paloma Hernaiz.

Why we love it? Drive 25-minutes north-east of Palma and you will find Finca Serena in the farmlands of Montuïri. Set in a 13th-century finca on a 10-hectare estate, Finca Serena takes you back to nature, with lush Mediterranean gardens and trails that allow you to explore 10-hectares of vineyards that surround the rooms scattered over the property.
